Fresh and weightless as the first air of morning, this airy Anarkali is shaped from the finest Chendamangalam muslin. A curved yoke is traced with petite stitch lines, while delicate self- embroidery frames the jewel neckline. A pale green border edges the hem, bringing to mind the first hint of colour at dawn. The gentle flare falls lightly above the ankles.

Before it reaches the loom, the yarn rests in water for forty-eight hours, a slow process that gives the handwoven muslin its extraordinary softness and gossamer-light feel. Unbleached, breathable, and almost weightless, it is a fabric made for days that begin softly.
