Black Earth

Black Earth brings the earthy character of Bagru’s hand-block printing into a richly layered anarkali. Deep black and madder tones, with subtle hints of greenish indigo, come together in foliage and forest-inspired prints, each carrying the gentle variations of the hand-printed process. A softly scooped, almost pot-shaped neckline is framed by rich embroidery, while delicate highlights of embroidery punctuate the yoke. Our signature multi-layered border traces the flared hem, with velvet and zari adding definition, depth and a quiet lustre to the silhouette.
