The Dutch Verandah

The Dutch Verandah evokes the cool, shadowed elegance of old Chettinad homes, where imported influences mingled effortlessly with a distinctly Tamil sense of colour and craft. Crafted in lightweight kandaangi cotton, the ankle-length, flared kurta dress brings together a rich teal-green medley of handwoven checks and stripes, accented with a soft sage-green panel. 

A woven border in tones of terracotta and sage frames the hem, lending warmth and depth to the silhouette. Delicate highlight embroidery on the yoke adds a quiet handcrafted detail, while the airy handloom cotton moves with softness and ease.
